The External works
Start November 2023Expected to end TBC
Status: in progress
From repairing the guttering, to landscaping the gardens, to pigeon-proofing the building, this phase is all about future-proofing the building.
This milestone includes
Rainwater replacement
Start November 2023Expected to end November 2023
As the title suggests, this stage of the process involves replacing any defective guttering and upgrading the existing system where required and landscaping the area to ensure rain water drains efficiently.
Soil pipe replacement
Start November 2023Expected to end November 2023
During this phase we will take care to repair and replace the building's soil and waste pipes and make sure they are functioning as intended.
Exterior lighting
Start November 2023Expected to end December 2023
As part of the landscape works we will be installing new exterior lighting and installing new CCTV cameras.
Pigeon control
Start January 2024Expected to end January 2024
While pest control plays a part in many phases of the construction, at this stage we'll focus on one of London's main pests, pigeons. To protect the building, we will install spikes and wire on all applicable ledges to encourage the birds to nest elsewhere.
Remove scaffold
Start February 2024Expected to end February 2024
At this point we will remove the external scaffolding and the building will be unveiled.
Final touches
Start April 2024Expected to end April 2024
Once, we reach this stage, most of the work will have been done. Now, all that's left to do is tidy up the overall building and grounds. We will tidy up any tired looking areas and add a fresh coat of paint to anything that's previously been painted.
Hard Landscaping
Start TBCExpected to end TBC
Now that the building repairs are complete, it’s time to bring in the landscapers to help it blend into its surroundings and connect it to the outside world.
Soft Landscaping
Start TBCExpected to end TBC
With the building and grounds settling into their environment, it only remains for our gardeners and landscapers to work their charm and bring some greenery to the grounds.
